I am a Consultant Psychiatrist with over 25 years experience in treating a wide variety of mental health conditions.
I trained as a doctor in University College London and have worked all over the UK and Channel Islands, gaining extensive experience of community, inpatient and specialist tertiary settings in the NHS, MoD and independent sectors.
I believe the most effective way to treat clients is within a holistic framework, incorporating factors such as sleep and wellbeing into my treatment plans.
Working in a variety of challenging settings sparked my special interests in work-related stress, trauma, sleep and PTSD. I am qualified in Occupational Medicine, in addition to my Medical and Psychiatric accreditations.
I am the Consultant Psychiatrist for Staff Wellbeing Services in South London and the Maudsley, and South West London Hospitals (including, amongst others St Georges, Kingston, and Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals).
For more immediate appointments, I also run a private clinic through Maudsley Private Care.
